VitroCom manufactures ultra high quality precision glass ferrules and alignment sleeves for the Fiber Optic market from Borosilicate and Clear Fused Quartz glasses. These custom made ferrules are made to a customer’s specification utilizing our proprietary technology and processes. We offer a variety of blown, acid etched or drilled countersink lead-ins, or any combination of the aforementioned, with inner diameter tolerances of +/-0.001 mm and better.

Alignment sleeves are precision drawn products made to a customer’s specification with Clear Fused Quartz glass and various types of Borosilicate glasses (N51A, Soda Lime, etc.). In Clear fused Quartz, the UV transmission characteristics of this glass allow the customer the benefit of using UV curable epoxies.
